Youth Group Meeting ~ September 22nd, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. @ the Van Daalwyk's home.
Rise Up Youth Group is open to students from 6th thru 12th grade and generally meets twice a month during the school year on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month. Some of our meetings are service projects or youth friendly events that may affect the day we meet. Check the calendar to confirm meeting dates and locations.

Most meetings are held at the home of Bob & Brenda Van Daalwyk. Address: N6939 Irish Road – Hilbert. Supper is prepared for all those in attendance.

We invite our youth and their friends to join us at these youth group meetings. Our Youth Group is open to all area youth. It is not necessary to be a member of Peace E & R Church to join the Youth Group.
Confirmation Classes ~ Wednesdays 6:15 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.
Our Confirmation process is a two-year program. Students are eligible to begin confirmation when they enter the 7th grade and are confirmed after completing two years in the program. Classes are led by Pastor Marc Axelrod and Jeanne Axelrod.

Parent/Student Orientation - Wednesday, September 4th at 6:30 p.m.

Classes begin on September 11th and run through April on Wednesday evenings from 6:15 to 7:45 p.m.

Materials for our 2024-2025 Confirmation classes will be posted to this website once they are approved by Pastor Marc.

Join us for Season 4 of "The Chosen" series. A Christian TV series that explores the life of Jesus Christ through the perspective of those who interacted with him. We use a study guide that accompanies the series.

Jeanne Axelrod message about study guides - "Right now the books are selling for 10.49. I will check if there is still memorial money that can be used towards the purchase of the books. We will need to get a count of how many people want a book. You can let me know if you would like us to purchase a book for you. You can pay for the book when you get it (if it's not covered by the memorial gift)."
2nd Thessalonians Bible Study ~ Fridays at 3:00 p.m.
Join us for Bible study on Friday afternoons at 3:00 p.m. as we examine the Book of 2nd Thessalonians.
Saturday Breakfast & Bible Study Group ~ 7:00 a.m. on select Saturdays ~ Book of Deuteronomy
Join us for breakfast, fellowship and Bible study. We meet at 7 Angels restaurant in Chilton on select Saturdays. The dates are listed on our calendar and in the church announcements.

This group is in the Book of Deuteronomy and studies one chapter each time they meet. Pastor Marc will bring printed copies of the study questions with him to the breakfast. Study questions are also available on this website under the Bible Lessons tab.

Pastor Marc will hold a Q & A session in the sanctuary following the worship service to answer theological questions about the Bible, Christianity, God, or Jesus.
Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Gifts ~ A project of Samaritan's Purse®
Last year we assembled and shipped 572 Shoebox Gifts with your generous donations.

We are collecting gift items and empty shoeboxes for this year's Shoebox Gifts. Place gift items and shoeboxes in the bins located in the main entrance foyer.

Gift items we are collecting include:
- New Clothes for Boys or Girls ages 2 to 14, Socks, Flip-Flops, Sunglasses
- Combs/Brushes, Bar Soap, Washcloths, Toothbrushes, Toothbrush Covers
- Tools - Plyers, Screwdrivers, Small Hammers, Wrenches, Screws, Nails, Flashlights with Batteries
- Small Stuffed Animals (Beanie Baby size), 9-inch Dolls, Toy Cars, Small Balls, Puzzles, Yo-yos, Small Frisbee
- Pens, Pencils, Erasers, Pencil Sharpeners, Markers, Crayons, Colored Pencils, Scissors, Small Notepads and Coloring Books, Stickers

Adult Sunday School ~ Classes plan to resume October 6 at at 10:10 a.m. In the Pastor's Office
Class meets in Pastor Marc's office following the worship service.

The study is in the Book of Revelation. Pastor Marc will have printed copies of study questions available at class. The study questions will also be available on this website.
Election of New Consistory Member at the January 28, 2023 Annual Meeting
Whitney Zieger hase served on the consistory for the past six years. We would like to thank her for their service and dedication to the church while serving on the consistory.

We will elect a new member to our Church Consistory at the Annual Meeting on January 26, 2025.

Our Consistory members are elected to a three year term and have oversight and jurisdiction of the congregation and all its organizations. The members of the consistory also hold offices within the church; President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Consistory Secretary, Communion Steward and Member at large. The consistory meets once a month to discuss church matters and finances. They also serve the elements for communion as needed each month.

Members of Peace Evangelical & Reformed Church of Potter are encouraged to serve on our church's consistory. If you would like information or are interested in serving, please contact a current Consistory Member or Pastor Marc. The eligibility requirements are shown below.

By Laws – Section XIII. Elections, Article 1.

A majority vote cast at the annual congregational meeting shall elect members of the consistory. They shall be elected for a term of office of three years. One Elder and one Deacon are to be elected each year. All elections shall be by ballot. To be eligible for any office in the congregation, the candidate shall have been a member of the congregation for at least 1 year and must be 21 years of age or over.
