Kyle Steinke & Dave Johnson have served on the consistory for the past six years. We would like to thank them for their service and dedication to the church while serving on the consistory.
We will elect two new members to the church consistory, a Deacon and an Elder, to the Church Consistory at the Annual Meeting on January 28, 2024.
Our Consistory members include the Pastor, three Elders, and three Deacons. Elders and Deacons are elected for a three year term and has oversight and jurisdiction of the congregation and all its organizations. The members of the consistory also hold offices within the church; President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Consistory Secretary, Communion Steward and Member at large. The consistory meets once a month to discuss church matters and finances. They also serve the elements for communion as needed each month.
Members of Peace Evangelical & Reformed Church of Potter are encouraged to serve on the church consistory. If you would like information or are interested in serving, please contact a current Consistory Member or Pastor Marc. The eligibility requirements are shown below.

By Laws – Section XIII. Elections, Article 1.
A majority vote cast at the annual congregational meeting shall elect members of the consistory. They shall be elected for a term of office of three years. One Elder and one Deacon are to be elected each year. All elections shall be by ballot. To be eligible for any office in the congregation, the candidate shall have been a member of the congregation for at least 1 year and must be 21 years of age or over.
