Annual Meeting ~ January 25, 2026 at 10:00 a.m.
The Church Annual Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, January 25, 2026, immediately following the morning worship service.

We encourage all members of the church to attend the meeting. There are important items on the agenda that require a vote to proceed. We will have the election of consistory members, approval of the 2026 church budget and possibly more.

Our church By-laws require at least 40 members of the congregation present to hold a vote. Your attendance gives you as members, the opportunity to participate in important decisions for our church.
Election of New Church Council Member at the Annual Meeting in January
Penny Steinke has served on the Church Council for the past six years. We would like to thank her for their service and dedication to the church while serving.

We will elect a new member to our Church Council at the Annual Meeting on January 25, 2026.

Our Church Council Members are elected to a three year term and have oversight and jurisdiction of the congregation and all its organizations. The members of the board also hold offices within the church; President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Consistory Secretary, Communion Steward and Member at large. The council meets once a month to discuss church matters and finances. They also serve the elements for communion as needed each month.

Members of Peace Evangelical & Reformed Church of Potter are encouraged to serve on the Church Council. If you would like information or are interested in serving, please contact a current Church Council Member. The eligibility requirements are shown below.

By Laws – Section XIII. Elections, Article 1.

A majority vote cast at the annual congregational meeting shall elect members of the consistory. They shall be elected for a term of office of three years. One Elder and one Deacon are to be elected each year. All elections shall be by ballot. To be eligible for any office in the congregation, the candidate shall have been a member of the congregation for at least 1 year and must be 21 years of age or over.
Pastor Office Hours
Rev. Gary Schultz is serving as our interim pastor and will be in the office on Friday's from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. We invite you to come visit with him. To meet with Gary at other times, please call him at 920-841-2248 or email: fjoutreach@gmail.com to schedule an appointment or personal visit.
Crisis Response Team Meeting ~ Monday, February 2, 2026 @ 6:30 p.m.
All church members are invited to attend our meetings to gain a better understanding of what this team does. If you are interested in being a part of this group, please attend the meeting.

Current team members are encouraged to attend the meeting to stay up to date with emergency procedures and also to sign up for door coverage during the worship service and church events.

Crisis Team Directors are: Jeff Krueger, Bud Wieting, Dave Johnson, and Chad Lerche.
Our Praise Band Performing during the Worship Service ~ Sunday, February 15th @ 8:45 a.m.
Our Praise Band will perform and lead our songs during the worship service on Sunday, December 14, 2025.
Ash Wednesday Service ~ February 18th @ 6:30 p.m.
We invite you to join us for worship on Ash Wednesday, March 5th at 6:30 p.m. in person or online. Communion will be served at the service.
Help for the Homeless Hygiene Drive February 22 - March 20 ~ A Donation Box will be in the Narthex
Voices of Peace ~ Performing Sunday, March 15, 2026 @ 8:45 a.m.
Confirmation Class ~ Wednesdays @ 6:15 p.m.
Our Confirmation process is a two-year program. Students are eligible to begin confirmation when they enter the 7th grade and are confirmed after completing two years in the program.

Parent/Student Orientation - Wednesday, September 3rd at 6:30 p.m.

Classes begin on September 10th and run through March on Wednesday evenings starting at 6:15 p.m.

Women's Bible Study Group ~ Tuesdays @ 6:00 p.m.~ "The Chosen" series, Season 5 -
The Women's Bible/Book Study Group meets on Tuesday evenings during the fall, winter and spring. This fall we plan to continue with "The Chosen" series - Season 5.

Join us for a relaxing evening as we learn together. The book has study questions included to help guide the conversation and aid us in understanding the Bible.
Heaven Bible Study ~ Starting Tuesday January 6th ~ 6:30 p.m. @ Outer Limits in Forest Jct.
We invite adults to attend Bible Study about Heaven on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m.

This study is led by Rev. Gary Schultz at the Outer Limits Youth Center, N8795 Church St, Forest Junction.
Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Gifts ~ A project of Samaritan's Purse®
Last year we assembled and shipped 625 Shoebox Gifts with your generous donations.

We are collecting gift items and empty shoeboxes for this year's Shoebox Gifts. Place gift items and shoeboxes in the bins located in the main entrance foyer.

Gift items we are collecting include:
- New Clothes for Boys or Girls ages 2 to 14, Socks, Flip-Flops, Sunglasses
- Combs/Brushes, Washcloths, Toothbrushes, Toothbrush Covers - No soap!
- Tools - Plyers, Screwdrivers, Small Hammers, Wrenches, Screws, Nails, Flashlights with Batteries
- Small Stuffed Animals (Beanie Baby size), 9-inch Dolls, Toy Cars, Small Balls, Puzzles, Yo-yos, Small Frisbee
- Pens, Pencils, Erasers, Pencil Sharpeners, Markers, Crayons, Colored Pencils, Scissors, Small Notepads and Coloring Books, Stickers
